ShwizZ is a unique cast of characters groovin' hard out of the Northeast. Best described as a melting pot of funkadelic rock and progressive jazz, this giant original sound will be sure to put a smile on your face. The band's variety and depth allows for lovely twists of improvisation and spontaneity spiked with technical prowess and musical complexity. In addition to creating an undeniable energy and atmosphere, the band's shows are never the same; always fresh,funky and heady.

We have performed alongside (and sometimes onstage with) such acts as Big Sam's Funky Nation, Particle, Dopapod, The Sam Kinninger Band, Jimkata, Consider The Source, The Heavy pets, Dopapod, Kung Fu, FiKus and many others.
ShwizZ continues it's standard of excellence into 2013 with it's acclaimed monthly residency at NYC's The Bitter End and a whole new array of venues and festivals in store.
